Bread Caramel Pudding
Keep warm with this delightful dessert!
5 cups (panettone or any sweet bread( cut in pieces or Cubs )
I liter milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup butter(melted)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 cinnamon sticks
Preheat oven 325F
Grease a glass dish cover with 1 cup of brown sugar and set aside.
Bring to a boil over medium heat milk and cinnamon sticks. Boiling for about 3-5 minutes, remove the cinnamon sticks.
In a large bowl stir in bread Cubs, stir in hot milk, toss with wood spoon and let combine for 10 to 15 minutes.
Stir in butter, eggs, sugar land the rest of ingredients and combine well with wood spoon.
Put bread mixture over prepare glass dish and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done.
