Angel food cake is one of the best cakes for summer. Try it with fresh strawberries or any fruit of your preference. It’s delicious for any ocasión at any time.
10 egg whites
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. Fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 325f
Beat egg whites until form picks, add half of the sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.
Sift together flour, rest of the sugar and salt three times.
Then incorporate to the egg whites mixture by hand.
Put the mixture into an ungreased tube pan.
Bake for about 45 minutes
Invert the pan and allow to cool before remove the pan.
Decorate with chantillí and fresh strawberries.
